this is poor advice but honestly — I don't. I have a disabling disease but am also extraordinarily bullheaded and allergic to rest. if I can lift my arm on a given day, I will draw. to me, drawing, artmaking, is (part) of my health. it's miserable and embarassing when I overdo it, though.
How do you balance art and health? Or attempt to, ig thats a hard one to actually do 💀

realized now that i have krita recorder, i can provide timelapses of the chibi project! so here's my recent work, and a little sneak peek at the upcoming myth! the trick to doing these is batching and alternating focus to keep myself from going insane lol

i need the world to stop turning for about… a month. just no more news, no more changes, no events, just laying in bed, not worrying about food, and quiet days at nice temperatures. then i think i could be stable and sane for a few more years.
