I’m just making fun of “text neck”. This is all made up.

Well, with him in charge is does feel like the end of the world as we know it.

Definitely.

Rode hard and hung up wet, as they say.

Seriously. I bet his genital warts have genital warts.

I know, I know. By “the worst”, I don’t mean the literal worst. Just really bad.

I had people telling me I shouldn’t be allowed to be a pediatrician, that I was dangerous, and worse. It was bad.

I make the shocking claim that eating a donut every day can be perfectly fine as part of an overall healthy diet, and that demonizing foods is problematic.
December 2, 2025 at 12:40 AM
In 2021, over at the bad place, I got days of horrible harassment from hundreds of ignorant people after I commented on a Wen tweet where she worried over the societal harm from people getting a free donut after their COVID vaccine.

What are the risks? Anxiety. Hyperfixation on a number that likely doesn’t represent true glucose metabolism over time. Overmedicalization and lowering the threshhold for the acceptance of additional unscientific monitoring and/or treatment. Disordered eating and eating disorders.
December 1, 2025 at 12:12 PM
There is absolutely no benefit to a healthy person without diabetes tracking their blood glucose continuously with a monitor. The woman featured learned that her blood sugar goes up when she eats a sandwich and that she should exercise more. That’s it. There was zero discussion of risks.
