Four species of Hawk-moth were recorded in the garden this year. Elephant Hawk-moths have only started turning up in the last couple of years since we planted the Jasmine #teammoth

12 years ago today I saw this beautiful Hawk Owl in The Netherlands. Also seen that day were Two-barred Warbler, White-tailed Eagle, Short-toed Treecreeper, White Stork and lots of Smew #birding

This is the moth that I wrote down as Chestnut after viewing it in artificial light last night. It looks different in natural light. Obs says it is Dark Chestnut? If it is, it would be a tick #teammoth
