Moon with seagulls, nature at its best...

The Moon, sky & 2 seagulls just now but through a window, so not as clear & sharp as it could be...

Ref the other platform, so my apologies including it here if you've left there, but here are 2 screenshots of Grok's amusing interpretation on the physics of the whimsical world of neutrinos thread I wrote originally on that platform(1st link), of which I copied here(scroll up) x.com/grok/status/...

I could try that. I've used my lights for indoor sets & effects on special occasions at home (parties, events) & want more outdoor 1s.

I made this lit up Halloween Wizard, set & vid yrs ago:

"You stole my star"

Coldplay from Princess of China

I want to be Rihanna here with Chris 🥰.

I'm going to make a toned down version of this dress with material tied at the wrist but as a top, that Rihanna wore in this vid!

Also, I already wear my hair similar to hers here

I'm planning on doing something similar on a much smaller scale, for my garden next yr. I collect lights (small stage LED Pars, a couple of lasers & 2 flower (specific lighting effect) lights plus loads more. When I go through my box room, I'll do a short thread & pics on them here & other platform.

A strangelet #particle walks into a #neutron bar & approaches its nucleus. It says to the other, it says to the other, it says to the other..

Civilisation is still learning how to get along whilst developing advanced military technologies because of perceived threats, where the 2 may or may not be related but more research on the science of decision making as game theory, would be very useful.Regardless, mathematics & psychology are vital

Here's the same whimsical physics of neutrinos thread but linked to the copy I wrote here after the original on the other platform.

I'm gradually copying over my threads & thoughts to this platform so there's a balance of my projects on both

All good fun but taking time...

Grok is very useful & I did ask it about what it thought of my whimsical physics of neutrinos thread I wrote a while ago & this was its reply linked to other platform if you missed it before

I think AI should be used with caution & as such, a tool not to be taken too seriously

I just think the North doesn't have as many of these science & mathematics types of outreach events. An e.g how the @londoninst.bsky.social hosts in such luxurious & inspiring seminar rooms as Ananyo's @ananyo.bsky.social post shows (© pic reference & linked to other platform)

I was born the same yr & month that this Apollo 12 Lunar Module (LM) in a lunar landing configuration was photographed, & whilst in lunar orbit from the Command and Service Modules (CSM) in November 1969.

I was just thinking, how good it'd be to go back to the Moon, if only for a brief time

As per my reply to this (via other platform linked) & to which I'll say the same here (but in screenshot)...

@Peterlewis55.bsky.social great chat with u tonight on some very important subjects. Hope u don't mind me screenshotting thrm here as a continuation for any1 who may have caught my original post at the start. It was a good thinking exercise, even if we didn't change the world.

Compared to London, there's a lack of science awareness in the North.

A fascinating science, & I like this plasma photo they used to illustrate the physics & energy for the #Fusion Pilot Plant (FPP) programme results from ST40 #tokamak @aip-publishing.bsky.social Division of Plasma Physics (I think correct?)

I can't find the copyright info for picture but will later.

Simply Put...

The reason why I'm still using Twitter today.

Over the yrs on that platform, I've written threads on subjects I've studied & have experience in, whilst making valuable connections with like minded people who also still use it, so I'm not using it because I want to endorse its owner.

I'd noticed Cloudflare froze half the internet this morning!

Interesting timing though not subjects I'd post online but a few news stories out this morning seem to be possibly related, some local, some international but I could be wrong

Interesting times...

A Gap In The Leap

Sir Professor Roger Penrose's #mathematical #physics, suggests science hasn't yet found a definite way to understand the human brain on a quantum level, much less how it thinks & the mind as a concept in itself. This is important today.

Advances in AI are leaping without thought.

Link to the other platform, to a thread I wrote about the day I spent at Sir Patrick Moore's house that was a great day full of #astronomy & lovely ppl, but who many now sadly, like Patrick, have since passed away but their legacy lives on with superb memories I'll never forget

A yr after spending a day at astronomer Sir Patrick Moore's house, I attended an astronomy presentation on his work, in London at the Royal Institution - 1 presenter was Dr John Mason. Link to screenshots of vids & link to 1 of those videos I took of it. @rigb.org photos.app.goo.gl/LmCyS8p5jfP3...
