I watched a little of a Walz gubernatorial debate before last night, and my impression is the format/setting causes him to stiffen up a lot. He just loses the coach/dad/neighbor energy that comes through in almost every other context. It's a shame, because I think he could have won with that.

Fuck it, I went! No point in paying the rent I do to live in a walkable neighborhood if I don't indulge such impulses. Was genuinely unsure which I would choose if they had all options, but only apple & potato were left. I'll keep half of each & take the rest in to work. Now to scramble some eggs…
