Congratulations to the South El Monte High School Eagles football team for winning the 2025 CIF Division 14 Championship game. Through teamwork and determination, they claimed the school’s first ever championship in a nail-biting 14-6 win. You have made CA-31 extremely proud.

This season, the South El Monte High School Lady Eagles volleyball team brought home their first-ever CIF-SS Division 9 Championship! These athletes kept training, refused to quit, and pushed themselves all the way to this historic win. Your community is very proud of you.

Ken Singleton served decades in the U.S. Army and came home to extend his commitment to public service by joining the Monrovia Unified School District. Leaders like Ken are the backbone of our community. Thank you for all your years of service, sacrifice, and leadership!
