That looks very similar to Acadian réveillon. We did live in Gaspe when I was a kid, but my mom's cooking wasn't very adventurous. I learned of my Acadian grandmother's recipes after I was an adult. Boy, she loved her pork and potatoes! My dad & his siblings made a recipe collection.

My Thanksgiving was a month ago but this Canadian is leaning in with the turkey and I'll throw in a bit of Tourtière as well.
