Community Speed Watch! I weirdly enjoy standing in laybys upsetting drivers!
Outside Umberleigh Primary School over 35 minutes we counted 100 cars, 20 of them were speeding! 2 of those were traveling above 45mph! 😱 Umber-leavable!

One of them did manage to get arrested, but I'm proud to say that we stood between the protesters and the poor souls in the hotel.

Hate seems to dominate the news and social media, but in real life we outnumbered them 10 to 1.

I was overwhelmed by the love and acceptance shown by the counter-protestors - "sing it loud and sing it clear, refugees are welcome here!". The poor souls stuck in hotels just want to be left alone to live their lives.

I had the privilege of chatting with a gentleman who is temporarily housed in a hotel with his family whilst their asylum claim is processed. The far-right were determined to intimidate and harass them. Not on our watch.
