Why does this car look like the Criterion cover of Nobuhiko Obayashi's House (1977)?

A friend shared this and it's wild. With so many games writers currently looking for work, a place seeking a feature film screenwriter to come in and "adapt screenwriting for interactive storytelling," rather than simply hiring a game writer with interactive storytelling experience feels... 🫠

It'd been a while since I read it, and was in a bit of a creative slump, so I re-read the first six pages of Sam Bosma's Fantasy Sports no. 2, a sort of self-contained short story. I think it is a perfect comic.

Hey #portfolioday I'm James and I'm writer & narrative designer, mostly in games and comics. For the former, I worked on Life Is Strange, South of Midnight, and Take Us North. And for the latter I've gotten an Eisner nomination, written Godzilla, and have a story in the upcoming MonsterVerse book.
