With minimal training in the previous weeks she was last after the first run but she is fearless so she passed several people in the mountain bike portion (with mud, sand, llamas, donkeys, chickens, and pigs in the way) who never caught up. She didn't make a podium but had fun.

They were imported from the Andes to clear brush. They adapted well to the environment & became an attraction. The duathlon ran through their pasture & I took some hilarious shots. I'll post some if I can figure out how to blur faces (didn't ask permission to post shots and many runners were kids).

I was afraid of this question 🤣
This place is called Riva Bella near Aleria. In summer it is a naturist camp but in winter they host competitions (clothes on). We went for a duathlon my sister was competing in (clothes on).
