I remember seeing it for the first time and being annoyed by how it was always raining. Then I read the book and realized the movie was was MLPFIM by comparison and they needed the rain for the constant existential oppression.

Cassidy may have had greater understanding (although at this point I find that doubtful) but to focus on him is to lessen the responsibility of all the others who voted yes. We should list their names and the names of those they’ve killed together for all to see.

Admiral Bradley would have been well aware what is and isn’t a lawful order. Everyone in that kill chain who had full knowledge and could have stopped it needs to be held accountable.

This is the kind of language that should been used with evangelicals for years. Everyone free to worship, every sacred space safe, every time the faith leader talks politics instead of faith called out.

My thoughts exactly. There are some low level guys who fire those missiles who will be asked EXACTLY what their orders were after this. And murder doesn’t have a statute of limitations for prosecution, it could be a long time from now.
