Same thing happened to me. Bed sores can grow to the size of a fist and cut down to muscle and bone in just a few days.
Nobody warned me. As a paraplegic, no pain
The hospital's plan was to send me straight to hospice. So we spent a shitload of $ on home care. After 3 months wound is near fixed
