Building Services Engineer (CEng), married with one kid who is growing up way too fast.
I've seen this posted all over FB today and as suspected, the comments are a cesspit. The caption intentionally misses out they had the kids whilst the father worked till ill health stopped him. Totally irresponsible reporting.

Near us, they put the Christmas lights up leaving the flags alone. It looks scruffy as hell. The lights are getting formally switched on this Thursday.

"We should help our first"

"No, not like that"

At least they're trying now. We got sent a leaflet earlier in the year where they forgot to add a candidate.

I've noticed they are trying to be more vocal on Facebook about positives but they just get bombarded by bots each time all laughing react to the post and commenting "Vote REFORM".

Agree but Labour can't exactly force them and whenever a minister appears on TV they get ambushed over unrelated issues to distract from the good news. On socials, it does appear to be a coordinated attack against their posts. They always get around 1k laugh reacts very quickly like this yesterday

There was protest up the road from us. Around 20 people turned up. Some clearly looking for trouble, "valid concerns" doing some heavy lifting here.

His identical twin, Local Champions, is the new candidate for East Leeds.

So is Farage running for East Leeds now or did they forget to update the template before sending? #deform

Look at any net zero roadmap/hierarchy and at the top is reduce energy usage. This alone reduces your bills significantly (and emissions) and is generally the cheapest to implement. Tice and others focus on more expensive measures further down the hierarchy to try to prove their point.

Still in shock at seeing one of the tunnels being built near Daventry. Went on for ages under a flat piece of land...

Cancelling now would be insane and save nothing. What would you do with all the infrastructure already built and the land that's already been purchased? Cancelling contracts isn't cheap either.

Not maybe, definitely. Page 89 of the manifesto.

The bottom corner of the John Lewis carpark is demountable to allow for the previously scrapped tran line.

Odd how this pops up on my feed exactly a year after we visited Munich.

Saw it via Telegraph too...

They're doing good and bad things and not perfect?!

Was the nimbys who didn't want to see a train go over a flat field that added the cost. I couldn't believe the sight of the tunnels I saw last month when driving down South.

Last year, on the way back from Munich last year, some lads on the plane were super excited about the prospect of eating Greggs steakbake again. I was dreading coming back to such mediocrity when Germany had a similar chain that that managed to do actual good food on the go.
