Immaturity masquerading as strength is the defining personal characteristic of our age.
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:

Real liberalism has been tried.

First it created the Constitution.

Then it abolished slavery.

Then it ended segregation.

Then it created the greatest surge of prosperity in history.

Our problems today are not because liberalism failed.

They are because we failed liberalism.

The hypocrisy of Ben Shapiro & most of my former colleagues in the conservative media world is that they’ll easily condemn Nick Fuentes, and some will condemn Tucker Carlson, but none will condemn the source of the problem - Donald Trump. My take.👇 open.substack.com/pub/socialco...

When I went to Congress, I wrongly considered Nancy Pelosi my political enemy. Over time, I developed immense respect for her, even when we disagreed. She, better than anyone, defended democracy against Trump in his 1st term. She’s an American giant. Well done Madame Speaker.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Nancy Pelosi won't seek reelection, ending her storied career in the US House.

This is just not true. The
Challenger data is not a representative sample of workers and these mostly reflect changes in data collection practices.

The BLS data is a better sample, and layoffs in 2025 have not been high.

And yet, even then, America gave them due process.

Liberals will never abandon the rule of law.

Not even for the most abhorrent, evil people among us.

Not then. Not now. Not ever.

Jews have thousands of years of stories, and extensive discussion of the 19th and 20th centuries, showing why caping for antisemites—as Jonathan Greenblatt and ADL decided to do—is a bad idea, and usually goes very bad for both the Jewish individuals who choose to do it and for the Jews in general.
Very clear implication here that Musk wants the ADL investigated by the FBI as a hate group. Considering who's in charge there, he may get his wish.

Most voters make an emotional decision based on vibes, and then backfill a Serious and Respectable sounding rationale they can tell themselves, and especially pollsters. But there's a lucrative polling/consulting sector that relies heavily on professing not to understand this.
last night I was talking to a community organizer from Mississippi and he was like “who even remembers what milk cost last month! I forget by the time I reach the checkout! It’s two dollars or something!” and he’s got a better grasp on how people engage with prices than the entire political class
