Bought a 50k miles '74 Avenger and ran it to 100k with no major problems. Towed a camping trailer with it too.
Passed it on to a relative who got another two years out of it.
Basic, but very under-rated cars IMO.

There are 78 Spitfires listed as airworthy at the moment, but only 12 Hurricanes. Only one Hurricane has been converted to a two-seater.
I'm lucky enough to have had passenger flights in both of them, and did aerobatics.

I would never encourage anyone to take risks, but I ran a Windows 7 machine for some specific things for two years after EOL without a single issue. It even got regular updates to Windows security software.
