100% on Tomb Raider Definitive Edition.
This is the first game I've properly sat down and really got into a game since finishing Silksong.

Was never a fan of the other Bionic Commando games that I've played. This one is no better.
On one hand, it's cool they've added stuff to the regular online sub bracket, on the other, none of these are for me.
We'll probably get one of the Pokemon Gamecube games next, then that's it for the year.

Was never a fan of the other Bionic Commando games that I've played. This one is no better.
On one hand, it's cool they've added stuff to the regular online sub bracket, on the other, none of these are for me.
We'll probably get one of the Pokemon Gamecube games next, then that's it for the year.

I finished this last night, and it's really good. Coincidentally, with everyone on the 360 love in at the moment, this made me miss the days of those big 360 era blockbusters.

I am really enjoying Tomb Raider (reboot) on switch. Now that it's calmed down with QTE and it's opened up into the big adventure, I feel like I'm playing the big game of the year that you get for Xmas.
And feels every bit of the time when it was released too (complimentary).

Despite it not clicking with me the last time I tried to play it, I'm giving serious thought to getting this on pay day.
Finished Perfect Dark over the weekend. I just decided the other day that I want to play through an N64 game I haven't beaten.
I normally get a few levels in and move on. Not this time. I really enjoyed it. Until I spent an hour on the last boss only to find out I was barking up the wrong tree.

Played the the Old School Rally demo this morning. Reminds me of V Rally and Colin McRae, among others. It's pretty good. Looks cracking with the CRT filter on. This might be my Xmas game this year.

And I'm blindly hoping that the folk you interact with only make up a small percentage of the game. Those previews say they only had an hour with it and you leave the guy behind during that time.

Had half an hour on the Kirby Air Riders global test. It looks great, but it's not really clicking with me. It was never gonna be a day one for me, but maybe if I can find it for £20 in a year or two, I'll pick it up.

Played a bit of Animal Crossing before work this morning. I miss the days when that meant I played ACNH for a good couple of hours before turning the laptop on and still having it running in the background.
Now it feels like there isn't enough time in the day to dig up all the fossils.

That's Luigi's Mansion finished. Well, aside from the singular Boo I was unable to locate. Not through want of trying. Got fed up of going back and forth through many of the same rooms over and over to find the one guy.
But I had fun. And I'm pleased I have all 3 games on Switch now.

Read through the Banjo-Kazooie feature in this months Retro Gamer.
It was a nice, brief overview of the development of all of the games. My biggest take away is that I fancy playing Nuts and Bolts again, despite bouncing off it hard last time I tried.
And Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair.

That new Animal Crossing update looks alright I suppose. As close as we're going to get in terms of having an additional island I suppose. Unless they've more to announce, I'm not particularly arsed about the Switch 2 edition.
