This is Bucky. He only has three legs. He’s my sibling’s cat and is very cute.

It’s very odd being in my stepmom’s house and there are no pictures of my dad. Just the new boyfriend.

Stepmom’s boyfriend has a 50-something year old son who is single and coming to dinner. Never married and no kids (“He’s like you!”). Instantly everyone was like “he has a steady job! He has his own home!” I have reached level “let’s set our sad sack sister up with rando single guy” in my family.

I am the token single person at Thanksgiving. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be.

Found out my stepmom’s new boyfriend is coming to Thanksgiving. I know my dad’s dead but can I just opt out?

Wow. This is quite something.
I was compelled to look that performance up. The introduction of Yoyo Ma by the speaker is very poignant given where we are as a nation now. May we return to a country whose government values the contributions of immigrants again.

Since I slandered Pizza Rolls the other day, my friend has been sending me absurd pizza roll videos. Just google “Florida chili”. I have heartburn just watching videos about it.

There’s a fine line between being informed and knowing too much. I feel like everyday recently has been an example of “knowing too much.”

Goodness. I forgot about this one.
Monday Morning 5: 19 by Rialto. One of those Britpop-era singles that sounded like it was going to be a massive hit but possibly arrived a little too late in the day and well after the backlash had started. Still sounds mighty though. Other lost belters?

I’m having that thing where you log on to social and everyone is reacting to the new thing but the reactions are vague, aghast, angry enough that you’re struggling to figure out exactly what the new thing is. German must have a word for this.
