Those forefathers were immigrants & children of immigrants. The nation they founded grew & thrives today bc of immigration. But like many other bigoted descendants of immigrants, Noem, Trump & Miller see themselves as legitimate Am.s & despise other immigrants. Their bigotry blinds them to reality.

But does it come loaded with asbestos and lead paint?

Reporters aren’t victims. They have a duty to inform the public. And they don’t go to the White House to volunteer for abusive treatment. They endure stupidity and childish attacks because that is what’s on the menu with this administration. But they don’t go back for more abuse; they go back for us

Or “if you refuse to address the substance of my question, the public and my newspaper will assume you are implicated in wrongdoing and are engaging in these childish verbal attacks to distract from that wrongdoing. Are you comfortable with that public perception?”

Definitely. The referring doctor tells you why they are sending you off for a $1000+ scan and the technician tells you what part is being imaged so you try to keep it as still as possible. My head was in one of those enclosed units for ~half hour for an apparent brain tumor. (no tumor, thank God!)

A mystery for the ages!
December 2, 2025 at 1:51 AM
I’ve only had 1 MRI in my life in an enclosed unit. I was definitely told what part was being imaged so I would not move that part (my head) during the scan. Maybe an open MRI unit is different but I imagine he still was told to not move the body part being imaged. So, yeah, Trump is lying or senile

Thanks so much for adding a new subject for my brain to working nightmares.

I now have to block you to prevent any future contributions to my already rich lexicon of demon insect nightmare lore.

Kkkristi Noem’s psychopathic decision making was entirely foreseeable. A person who not only kills a puppy for misbehavior when it hasn’t been given adequate training and control, but also writes about that act in an autobiography as if it were a noble act, demonstrates the worst possible judgment.

TBF, it’s not envy and insecurity at work in Pete Hegseth’s criticism of Sen. Mark Kelly, it’s also deep rooted asshol¡shness, brazen stupidity, and complete shamelessness. These are the quintessential characteristics that make so many frat boys insufferable bullies and criminally idiotic when drunk

Consider asking the legal aid society in your state to connect you with pro bono counsel. You should not have to research this yourself and it is a great experience for new attorneys. I handled a guardianship early in in my career; it was a huge boost in a soul-crushing job.
November 25, 2025 at 5:32 PM
Have you considered getting an order of guardianship? Some judges are really thoughtful and will customize the order to give the protected person the most autonomy possible (allowing them to vote, drive, etc.) while giving a guardian sufficient authority to protect that person’s interests.

JD Vance is not an ideologue. He is part weather vane, part nihilist. He believes in nothing. He vacillates between one extreme and another, without rhyme or reason, going along for the moment with whatever he thinks will yield the biggest outrage. His only moral value is contempt for others.

That definitely be Missouri

Having good judgment and applying it so judiciously ≠ judgmental
November 22, 2025 at 3:35 PM
No te hagas pendejo.
Nothing in that “act” ratifies or otherwise makes lawful the killing of civilians who have not attacked us or have been tried and sentenced to death.
November 22, 2025 at 3:21 PM
If killing civilians in boats off the coast of other nations isn’t impeachable, what is?
Yes, tRump’s response to the Dem.s’ unlawful orders video is insane and shows he’s dangerously unfit, but his actually ordering our troops to kill civilians seems even more ripe for an impeachment action.
November 22, 2025 at 3:13 PM
What consequences should he face? Censure? He won’t care. Impeachment? GOP reps & senators gave him a pass on attacking them on Jan. 6. Removal by the Cabinet under the 25th Amendment? It’s stacked with sycophants & autocratic-loving morons. Civil suits won’t work bc courts enforce via US Marshals.
November 21, 2025 at 2:43 AM
Some of these folks lack a conscience. Others trust that their superiors have vetted the legality of the orders. But every single one who has been involved in the Caribbean Sea / Gulf of Mexico murders is complicit and guilty of conspiracy and murder.
November 20, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Almost daily, tRump makes statements violating his oath of office. He is not preserving, protecting, and defending the Constitution and is not faithfully executing the Office of the President. Arguably, chronic dereliction of duty and undermining of the Constitutional order = impeachable high crimes

A wholly appropriate and timely response. She is a good egg. Keep her.
November 20, 2025 at 8:07 AM
Impeachments are political not judicial decisions. The Chief of the SCOTUS plays a role but SCOTUS has no involvement in impeachment

MAGAts, pronounced like “maggots” bc that’s what they are
November 20, 2025 at 4:55 AM
Ok but what shorthand term would you offer to replace it that is as easily understood to mean original, pen on paper signature?
