Hmmm, I guess there is a difference between Yad Vashem using that phraseology and a German broadcaster.

TBF, I once worked at a German broadcaster whose boss had to put a memo out telling journalists to stop calling Auschwitz a “Polish death camp”. So I kind of understand the prickliness in this case.
