made the switch to Tidal a few months ago, and I was so happy this morning to find that Relatively Clean Rivers is available there! This lovely little album has been missing from Spotify for years, another reason to make the jump 😈

I've now listened to 10 albums from 2025 that I liked enough to put on my "best of the year so far list." Am I too granular here in making a distinction between experimental hip hop and abstract hip hop? Maybe! We're freewheelin it

I think it's gotta be SORCS 80 by Thee Oh Sees for me! In general there's lots of stuff I like this year, it'll be hard to narrow down a top 10-15, but there's not really a ton I love and I don't know how much I'll come back to any of it
