#ChefRat This might seem insignificant, but I’ve been trying to perfect frying eggs over easy for years and I’ve finally cracked it (pun definitely intended 😁 🍳 ) Those silicone rings make the process a heck of a lot easier! Also, banana ketchup is delicious 😋

I couldn’t dress for Halloween this year because I was stuck at work on a 12h shift. But I could at least don my #ChefRat hat and bake a Halloween-themed cake. If anyone’s curious, it’s orange flavoured with strawberry jam between the layers 😁

I did a bit of digging on this. I couldn't find a clear answer on Public Health Wales. But on the all-UK government site, it says in so many words that with most people now immune, getting jabbed wouldn't make much difference unless you're elderly or immunocompromised.

I just got home from getting my flu shot. I enquired with the nurse if I was eligible for a COVID one too, but she told me the eligibility's changed to over-75s only. It’s annoying, but I also understand why they’ve made this decision. I just have to hope that 2020 will never repeat itself.

#ChefRat does not let his jack-o-lantern go to waste! After removing all he seeds from the guts so they can be toasted for a snack, I’ve mixed them with other fruits and ingredients and made three jars of chutney. This should be enough to last me the year 😁

I had to make my Jack-o-lantern a few days early this year due to my schedule at work conflicting with Halloween itself. I figured I’d look inwards for my design this year and express my rattiness in pumpkin form 😁🐀

I spotted this furry thing hanging from my shed roof as I was putting my bike away. The local cats often like to squat in my garden, but the “if I can’t see him, he surely can!t see me” nature of this one gave me a good chuckle ☺️
