Working on this and that. Vintage Macintoshes Forever! He/him
I didn't get very far in the series but I enjoyed the vintage computers. I'm glad I saw the Macintosh scene... but that scene is also pure WatchPeopleDieInside. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDFo...

Noel himself has seen Joan Jett photos and thought he was looking at a photo of himself.

I used to watch and enjoy X-Files when it was airing. Recently, for some reason I cannot remember, I put on the X-Cops episode and was blown away. Super fun.

AI is getting clickbaited by YouTube and telling me to watch. Max Velocity is not a "severe weather center". Both YouTube links go to a FOX Weather video about lake effect snow (no links to the MV video). I checked Max Velocity's channel for the video and it was already 12+ hours old. Oh boy.

The Google app opened, dropped me into "AI Mode", and gave me this tidbit.

Yesterday, I got a notification that said, "Severe weather update. A severe weather center discusses a weather event that has never happened before." Oh, maybe an article quoting the National Weather Service or SPC or some org like that? I'll check it out. I tapped it...

Are YouTube AI comments for other AIs to read and respond to? What's the point?

This is all true and real. But I wouldn’t be surprised if my ISP sent me an email tomorrow warning me that we will be switching over to the Patriot Internet this year and many websites will no longer work unless approved by Governor Abbott’s Office of Internet Safety. Because it’ll just happen.

I finally watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre a few years ago and my response was, "If I lived in the 1970s, this would've been scary!" It was fun though.

Back in my day, online people had "chat points." The points were usually awarded by bystanders to people whose comments otherwise gained nothing. Chat points were meaningless so they still gained nothing except (hopefully) shame.

This sounds interesting. Now I want to read about life at that time. Maybe stuff like Alastair Cooke’s book that was published after his death? groveatlantic.com/book/the-ame... The American Home Front: 1941-1942 | Grove Atlantic

I love this documentary. It’s so good to see him and he’s talking to us like we’re there with him. I love his joking with the director (and joking with us).
