It was insane to me that the NHL scheduled NO GAMES on a FRIDAY during the FIRST WEEK of the season.

Just mind boggling brand management on their part.

Back in February I joined our local democratic committee. We started a volunteer subcommittee, whose sole focus is to find volunteer opportunities in the community and then match those opportunities with people.

It might not feel like much, but feeding one person for a single day means one person got to eat for another day.

Better yet, volunteering at a food bank for a day means tens of families get to eat that day.
