Ensure the screen is in portrait mode (debug buttons hidden in landscape!), tap Factory Reset rapidly 5+ times, tap the top debug bar for "Turn on ADB debugging!", adb connect <shark-ip-address>:5555 from the same wireless network - voila!

A good variety of busy over the last few days: An overnight deployment for fire patrol at a forest fire, crewing a community AP&I show in town, and this morning the Tararua bush was calling, so off we went!

A fire that I was at overnight, doing fire patrols and putting out hot spots for - nothing beats a good evening stroll in the forest with friends from @horowhenuavfb.bsky.social and Whanganui VFB!

My first full year in the @horowhenuavfb.bsky.social has been a pretty good one, as far as gaining experience and time on the fire ground goes!
76 calls in 2024, I responded to 59 of them, and 46 of those were active jobs of some sort (not stood down/etc) - Loving it!

It's been a little while since we've done a call stats post, so here's the final one for 2024.
This was our busiest year in memory - with 76 calls total, we had as many vegetation fires (37) as we normally would have total calls in a year.
