Marine Protected Areas need more than just protection—they need active management! 🌊
We led a new study that shows that the MPA guide Stages and Levels are good proxies conservation outcomes. Without active management, fish populations may not recover.
We need both quality AND quantity in MPAs! 🐟

A new study by SPE members shows that cleaner wrasses with more intense blue tones are preferred by client fish—likely because colour signals better service. Evolution at its finest!
