He/him. Path of Exile diehard that doomscrolls politics. Birds are pretty neat. Hoping for a free Palestine in our lifetime.
...The Mueller report is definitely going to get those Republicans to turn on him.

January 6th is the day Trumpism died.

Garland is going to charge him any day now.

Sure he won again, but the agencies and media won't roll over to his sycophants.

The Democrats will fight back...

Once we have legs in the metaverse, we'll be off to the races

I think it's as simple as he wanted his flights to be ok going into the holidays, and the stupid same reasons they caved last time.

He definitely deserves the blame as the failed leader

Passing progressive legislation when they're back in charge.

I'm not sure I fully buy that theory because I think even Chuck knows he's fucked in 2028 unless he takes ALL of the DNC money for just his race.

Majority Report has been talking about how they think Schumer got the others to cave because he was thinking that the Republicans would give in to Trump's demands on the filibuster and force the bill through. While Chuck doesn't care about this CR, he does care about having no excuses for not...

You're right. I was commenting too early on this story and was presuming that Chuck was scared of his reelection chances. I hadn't heard about the reporting about him working with them behind the scenes to do this (although I should have guessed from Durbin).

This is why Indivisible isn't invited to the parties, but Ezra Klein is.

If you're not thinking about how the donors are going to catch their flights, you don't really care about America.

To be fair, he didn't cave this time with his own vote.

But if Jeffries is capable of holding together his side of Congress despite having just as little charisma, why can't Chuck?

Is he an oath keeper because he couldn't name 5 cereals for the proud boys?

I'm not convinced yet that she can win the presidency in 2028, but she can definitely primary and beat Schumer forcing senate Dems to get new leadership.

Shaheen retires next year and does not care. Her and her lawyer husband will be just fine either way.

That's a hard choice because they're both great. I would say Spire first and then Hades. If you only have time for one, I would lean towards Hades though.
November 10, 2025 at 4:01 PM
Exactly. Every other democratic senator should be demanding the heads of these idiots, particularly Schumer. Dems lost everything last year, and they kept the same leadership. They don't know how to learn lessons or how to get rid of dead weight.

Fetterman is far more useful to the Republicans as a Democrat than Dr. Oz being in that seat. What a damn world.
