I finished my sketchy demon/agnel comic in time to print for Thought Bubble which I did not think would be possible!
A young male demon with small purple wings, a long tail, black hair, satyr like feet and smooth skin is tied to a cross in a suggestive pose. The title of the comic is "When Paradiso Calls"

Ultra shiny/reflective surfaces are still tricky for me to do because of how they fade so I’ve drawn like 10 shitty shiny balls now but I think I’m beginning to find a technique I like? Definitely going to do way more tests before I bother doing a picture though lol

I started with a really cheap brand which still has some okay blending power but yeah, there is definitely a difference in quality depending on what you pay. Cheap ones still serve an excellent purpose for a certain style I think. The peachy one in the middle is a mix of cheap and copic markers

I hadn’t really used alcohol based markers before so I didn’t realise they had this blending power that school markers didn’t have
Circles that are coloured in by markers as colour tests. They are various skin shades.

I've seen a few people saying how much the like the start menu of Sorry We're Closed and that just makes me so happy. I do miss painting a lot, and can't wait to do more as we finish up dev on it!!

I'm heading off to Berlin for the A MAZE games festival as SWC has been nominated for an award 😭! It's next week so I'll be wandering around there if anyone happens to be around.

This project has been so taxing but also like, rewarding in so many ways it's crazy.
