The underlying problem with having a "nuanced opinion on trans athletes" is that the status quo was already the nuanced view (typically a certain period on hormones, usually years post transition, decided on a sport by sport basis BY their awarding bodies), critics don't actually want that.

this app makes me think about UX a lot. its biggest supporters seem to be mostly people with big followings, because the algorithm allows them to have a more closed less hostile community, and most of the criticisms I've heard are from regular people who find the browsing experience to be suboptimal

fascinante que assim que o seu mandato começou, luís montenegro deixou de usar o telegram e aparentemente mudou-se para o signal. nada de muito concreto mas certamente interessante
the last day montenegro was online on his telegram account was april 1st 2024 at around 7pm, the evening before his mandate as prime minister started. it is unclear when he signed up to signal, but since messages there get delivered it is clear he uses it to this day.

i really really really really cannot overstate how fucking good this movie is. it is simply a work of art without any equals. it's the result of years of rigorous formalist study of the music video as a genre and it carries itself with the confidence required to pull it off
