Country & wealth forming coalition is the only way they can - and often have - hoodwinked middle and lower class into voting against their own interests. A stranglehold on media helps too.

and really we shouldnt blame the poor posties. When rates dropped and no aussie in their right mind stayed on (sound familiar?) they hired anyone desperate enough to extend their visa rather than return to a war-torn part of the world we destabilised "looking for WOMD's".

But hey, some elites and their professional managerial class are making bank. At least until the bubble bursts, investments crash, and we domino into a (deeper) recession...
