I do not know what the long-term implications are, but I was likely one of the last cohorts of US Fulbright Scholars thanks to the efforts of the current administration. All IIE (Institute of International Education) have been furloughed. 80 years of international collaboration cut.

I'm putting the finishing touches on a Pokémon Go paper. The screen caps are a little depressing. I mean... I'm writing about the grind, but knowing I've caught 28k+ Normal Pokémon is just 😱😭 Upside is sharing funny names of mons. 😂

Delighted to see that photos of furry friends has returned to social media now that folks are slowly jettisoning other sites. This is my roommate Doki Doki. He is a pretty cool guy overall. His polydactyly paws make him exceptionally adept at opening cabinet doors and drawers. Not so good at dishes.
