(This isnt meant to be condescending, I'm sure you're well aware of this. Its just a thing I like to remind people of - all of this stuff is just made-up nonsense that we could change with enough momentum, our whole system is a nightmare that we COULD wake up from because WE collectively created it)

Having "authorization" and "jurisdiction" is a thing we all made-up that only exists because we all agreed to it
They have the "authority" to do whatever doesn't get stopped by someone else. The president isn't supposed to have the power to set tariffs, but nobody stopped him from doing it anyway

I don't exactly want him as president, but a VP who spends their time actively countering conservative BS would be really nice. VP isn't really useful for much else anyway.
Not that it matters if we aren't prepared to fight as hard as we possibly can to make sure there's still an election this year

The genocide is here anyway though, ICE has already killed dozens of people and they're only ramping up further. Nothing has to even actually happen for him to try and stop elections, they'll just claim there are "riots" and its a "war zone" that they need to "clean up", like they've done previously
