Just a few hundred people control basically all of the world's resources. This is bad, but remember: the smaller the group, the less to be defeated.

Imagine how hard it would have been to topple the world's oligarchs 200 years ago. Basically impossible. But with just a few controlling everything...

Crimes against humanity
🤬Attack Dogs! Senator Patty @murray.senate.gov constituent was tricked to come outside by an #ICE agent dressed as a construction worker claiming he hit their car & then they released a K9 attack dog to take him down

🤬WTF is wrong with these goons & who the hell authorized use of attack dogs? 🤯

We need Dems that are exactly as unafraid to fuck shit up as trump is, but in a good way. Just non-stop "No, fuck you, this is what we're doing and this how it is now", no letting people forget and move on, no centrists joining in with the bad-faith conservative attacks, no BS allowed to slide
I sincerely hope that Democrats are making a video library of video shorts of Trump to play when the next Democratic president takes office. When they criticise the new President then they should play the stupid insane shit Trump said on the same topic.

Whatever happened to all those big bad constitutional defenders that were chomping at the bit to "go to war with the government and defend Americans against a tyrannical government"? It seems like they were everywhere not too long ago, I wonder what changed 🤔

Is the swamp drained yet?
Trump's DOT just forgave $11M in fines against Southwest Airlines for its 2022 holiday meltdown.

This follows the agency scrapping a Biden-era rule requiring airlines to compensate and rebook passengers for lengthy delays or cancellations.

Trump is making flying suck even more.

TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:
"This is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know if we did it".

Just remembered how trump tried to kill Biden in 2020 by infecting him with covid during their debate

Deleting a journalist's YouTube account is one thing, still terrible but their excuse is at least *somewhat* plausible. Deleting their entire Gmail account too, though?! In what world is that justified?

Don't trust anyone with your data, always have local backups & redundancy! Corporations are evil
Tech companies deleted journalist’s work. "In February 2024, without warning, YouTube deleted the account of independent British journalist Robert Inlakesh. ....[which] featured dozens of videos... documenting Israel’s military occupation of the West Bank." theintercept.com/2025/12/07/y...
A Journalist Reported From Palestine. YouTube Deleted His Account Claiming He’s an Iranian Agent.
YouTube offered conflicting explanations for deleting the account of Robert Inlakesh, who covered Israel’s occupation of the West Bank.

ADHD isn't just about being distractible, or chatting a lot. Deficits in executive function increase mood swings. It's harder not to ruminate on difficult or painful memories. It's harder to reason your way out of a spiral. Emotional pain cuts deeper. It fundamentally affects how you experience life

If your first reaction to someone having their legs run over by an ICE vehicle is “was he here illegally” then you’ve completely lost your moral compass

The same goes for asking what the “whole story” is

There’s nothing a person could do to justify running them over with a car.

"With a series of key decrees, legislative acts, and case law, the Nazi leadership gradually moved Germany from a democracy to a dictatorship. The role of the legal profession in general and the actions of judges in particular were critical"

Nothing says racism, cruelty, hatred and weakness combined in one quite like the orange felon removing all free access to National Parks on federal holidays that honor black people whilst giving free access on his own birthday. He should’ve been sent to jail forever.

Senator, it’s time that you and @governorferguson.bsky.social simply block ICE from operating in the state of Washington. Shut down the Tacoma gulag. Use our natl guard to arrest ICE. Fight back, don’t just complain

What a surprise
Ah. Many of us were wondering what the deal was here.

The mother of Karoline Leavitt’s nephew was reportedly engaged in a nasty years-long custody battle with the White House press secretary’s brother before she was detained by ICE last month.

Fucking evil
My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Meanwhile, Meta has spent over $75b trying to develop their dumb little "metaverse" thing
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

Reminder about Jan 6:

it really happened
It was a horror
140+ police were injured
A range of violent weapons were used by attackers
Chants to hang Mike Pence were heard
There was a gallows and guns
Pipe bombs diverted police as mob approached
