An example of a ridiculous thing that is now used as a reason to resent your parents: having been subjected to "threats," aka, consequences. It's hard to parent when our kids are up against this.

Even if your child doesn't go no-contact, there is a lot of less drastic but still miserable gray area around it. People are given increasingly small reasons to put their parents in this area.

Oh, that's reassuring! My AMH was tested a couple years ago and it was 1.2, so I know I'll probably go through menopause on the earlier side, but not scary-early.

So how long does it go on for before the major hormonal symptoms set in? I'm guessing different for everyone. Like if it just stays like this for 10 more years, I'd be thrilled.

Like can you have cycle changes before perimenopause begins? I hope so! I'm done having kids (well, unless I defrost an embryo already created) but I would just rather not be there YET
