a report on nickel mining in the Caraga region, including Dinagat Island, and how it causes human rights abuses and worsens the country's climate vulnerability.

The launch and the forum on climate change will take place in Quezon City and will be livestreamed on the following platforms:

denuded parts of Tubajon in Dinagat Island. Open-pit mining for nickel ore is not only severely affecting the lives of local folk -- it's worsening the impact of the climate crisis, as shown by more frequent and more intense typhoons.
