Question for @amplifyeducation.bsky.social.
Is there a way to see which assignments I have assigned to a given class?
September 8, 2025 at 1:12 PM
Hey #MathEd folks,
I'm looking for resources to supplement my #stats class - videos, articles, etc. that:

-provide real-world examples of the concepts in action
-discuss the development of concepts/tools
-describe concepts and tools in intuitive or animated ways
-etc.

Whenever rich men known to be liars—and exactly the sort of people who'd never give up any power granted to them—claim that they're telling the truth and are extremely willing to give up any power granted to them, there's something endemic in major media that seems predisposed to accept such claims.

Senior U.S. District Judge John Coughenour: “It has become ever more apparent that, to our president the rule of law is but an impediment to his policy goals, the rule of law is, according to him, something to navigate around or simply ignore, whether that be for political or personal gain."
Reagan-appointed judge again blocks Trump’s unconstitutional attempt to rescind birthright citizenship.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

The best way for higher education to confront generative AI is to train humans to think like humans. That way, when it becomes inevitable that we have to use AI, we'll have a human foundation for it.

But we've been teaching students to think like machines for decades. AI just makes it easier.
