😞 it’s a shame for such a cute game!

Exactly! And yea quest markers are a huge help! And especially in larger games that you have to play across many days/weeks/months.

In my experience good level design is an organic helper too, with clear points of interest and different visuals for different zones to help break it down.

Yea if it hadn’t been a super short game I think I would’ve but it down, but at least with it being ~8 hours it meant I could play it across a few days and keep the routes fresh in my mind. Got lost so often though 🥲

I still finished the game as I enjoyed the cosy vibe, simple gameplay, and charming narrative. But I’d love to see some extra features added to reduce barriers and enable more people to enjoy it too 🖤❄️

This review mentions “high contrast scenery” but don’t mistake it for high contrast mode. The art style is beautiful, but often very hard to tell an interactive object from a static one, which resulted in me getting stuck for ages because I hadn’t realised I could destroy a thing to open a new path…

Thanks for making it! You can really tell how much work went into it.

Honestly it’s fascinating how the options made it so much more accessible but still challenging. Incredibly well done 💯

I can’t tell if you’re exhausting from making a similar case or if my hot take has made you sleepy 😂

With almost a third of players identifying as disabled, I think accessibility needs a permanent seat at the table when we discuss UX 🖤
