It is not a stretch at this point to say that, if you are using a Ring doorbell, you are an ICE collaborator.

Amazon readily provides data to LEOs and ICE.

Don't want to be an ICE collaborator? Then don't use Ring.
remember that your ring doorbell starts using face recognition on every face it sees today :)

Thinking about the NYPD SRG cop yesterday who saw protestors futzing with a barrier they made at the ICE garage. He climbed out of his van and vaguely complained walking over.

It seemed like he was planning to clear it, then bailed when I blurted out “You can’t do that. You can’t help them.”

Between this and his support for Hakeem Jeffries and Jessica Tisch, he is losing my support really fucking fast.

I'm not surprised, just disappointed. 😒
As people are asking: Mamdani’s only mention of yesterday’s action sabotaging a massive ICE raid was reiterating his stance that ICE raids are bad. Via spox. To one media outlet.

No comment on any of his socials.

600 ICE agents were supposed to be deployed to Canal Street. Hundreds of New Yorkers gathered instead.

Quick summary by me:

Confirmed: Earlier this morning a photog overheard agents inside the parking garage say “dismissed,” believed to be calling off their planned mass raid.

A source tells me they had planned for *hundreds* of agents to flood Canal St. They got flooded instead.

If you're anywhere near Canal Street, please go! They need reinforcements. Turn off biometric login on your phone first.
‪NYPD showed up, pushed thru crowd & then pushed crowd out to break it up.‬

‪Maybe 2 arrests, ICE still stuck, waiting on NYPD to shove and grab and beat people.‬

Is your council member on this list? Ask them why they’re joining with Vickie Paladino in support of Julie Menin, and remind them that you want a city council that will work with the mayor elect on delivering the agenda that more than a million New Yorkers voted for.

NYC! Julie Menin wants to be speaker of city council, but is poised to block much of Mamdani’s agenda.

We can’t have NYC stuck in gridlock for 4 yrs. We need a bold progressive agenda, adopted quickly.

Ask your city council member to support Crystal Hudson.

😷 Another reason to wear a high-quality mask in public spaces:

A fellow subway passenger's phone battery just exploded and filled the car with toxic fumes. Neither of the emergency doors would open (WTF @mta.info @governor.ny.gov!) But I was wearing a KN95, so my lungs seem ok so far. 🤞

Kathy Hochul could bring down bills and protect our future by building 15 gigawatts of public renewables.

Instead, she's raising bills to build Trump's fracked gas pipeline and a crypto mine.

Is this why?

I will not be watching or reading any "analyses" about the Democratic party in D.C. I know all about them & their complicity. I'm not interested and I choose to reclaim my time and attention.

There're other kinds of politics to engage & most importantly to do (including in our local communities).

Call your Senators NOW! Tell them not to cave. They're about to get absolutely nothing out of all this.
I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
