He is also using our money to prosecute his political enemies and the appeals he files when his cases are thrown out of court.

We need to get the stock market out of the health insurance equation.

We must also get the stock market out of the health insurance industry. Premium calculations shouldn’t include the cost of future dividend payouts.

The universal healthcare messaging is and always has been wrong. “Get the stock market out of the healthcare insurance business.” People can agree with that!

But that was before Trump decided to go retail with US weapons (PURL). Now he’s just a used weapons salesman with a wrinkled suit and a big mouth. Europe should tell him to “piss off!”

The republicans in congress are worse than door mats. They’re Trump’s Eunuchs.
November 21, 2025 at 3:44 AM
The other problem is that most people don’t stop to think that insurers reward their stockholders with dividends at the expense of the rest of us. Yet people are quick to call out universal healthcare as” socialism”. So I guess capitalized healthcare is better than socialized healthcare. So dumb!

Miller will use these deportations to meet the quotas he laid out in Trump’s campaign, and then crow about it.

Will be fascinating to watch the SCOTUS try and thread the needle between the two gerrymandering cases (TX and soon to be CA).
November 18, 2025 at 8:49 PM
With two states’ maps (TX &CA) now being challenged in the basis of “racial gerrymander” it seems like the SCOTUS is going to have a hard time threading the needle to favor one state over another.

Your arrogance is off the charts buddy. If you must have the last word repeat after me “fuck off”.
November 15, 2025 at 9:29 PM
That’s quite a stretch, Sir. Your cynical views about people aren’t helpful either. I’ll close by saying “be better at being human”.
November 15, 2025 at 9:11 PM
I am telling you what I believe to be true about how people view their healthcare. I’m not saying it’s excusable. I’m saying it’s explainable. I am doing my part to help people in my own sphere to understand the system. I certainly don’t start my conversations with “you’re ruining America”.
November 15, 2025 at 9:00 PM
Ask anyone on the street if they think capitalized medicine is better for the people than socialized medicine. You will either get a blank stare or “socialism something something, bad something something, communists…something something…democrats…..”
November 15, 2025 at 8:49 PM
However you choose to characterize it, they aren’t aware of how our health insurance system is designed.
November 15, 2025 at 8:41 PM
When the average Joe thinks about healthcare he’s focused on what’s covered and what’s the cost, not on the system as a whole. Probably even less concerned about the system as a whole if he’s got employer sponsored insurance. No, I’m not being sarcastic.

I would agree with you if I thought voters were being willfully ignorant. I don’t believe they are.
