I did a fresh reinstall of the app to check; unfortunately, routes 12 and 16 do not appear in the MyBus section of the app and thus cannot be tracked from it (screenshot below; they are trackable on all of NJT's MyBus website frontends, just not the app's). Thank you for escalating the other issues.

Good news for NJ Transit riders: Courtesy of new programming on some TVM's we now have confirmation that NJT's "FARE-PAY" farecards will be NFC cards like about every other sane place on the planet and not use barcodes or QR codes. Not a fan of the card graphic design or name, though.

That lot is not owned by the University (property map screenshot provided for reference). The whole area around the west side of the station is zoned Light Industrial as it formerly had significant freight rail access. The trains are mostly gone now, but the zoning and businesses have stuck.
