This is the response I’d expect from
The person who supported Jitsu Squad.
Well played👍

We had the pleasure of welcoming game developer Junji Seki to the Embracer Games Archive!
He explored the archive, shared his passion, and donated some wonderful items.
Seki-san also runs the Named Cassette Museum in Tokyo, documenting games with handwritten names.

Immerse yourself in the retro-futuristic soundtrack of OMEGA 6 The Triangle Stars, composed by Nintendo veteran Shinobu Amayake (Stunt Race FX, Wario’s Woods). If you grew up listening to SNES music, this is a must-have! 🎵

Catching up on 80s anime during cardio sessions of late, and wasn’t it just the Wild West back then when it came to ‘Easter eggs’ 😅
I think the text is from an interview about Tron and 2010, and there’s a Starship Troopers reference later too.

I distinctly remember consumer hype being that PSP = portable PS2, except it was more akin to PS1.5.

My first job in development was a port from PS2 to PSP and can confirm the need for a _lot_ of effort to get a port working.
I shipped a PSP launch title and several other PSP games, and it was a pretty interesting beast. Internally it was impressive--we were porting PS2 games to this thing and (with a lot of effort) making them work. But there were big gaps in the capability of the device and customer expectations.
I still remember holding the PlayStation Portable for the first time and being totally blown away. It really felt like a device from the future, one gadget for all your portable entertainment needs. So… what happened? ravi64.com/playstation-...
