Techniques already exist to extract information & logic processes from people without their consent or knowledge; a regulated device might clarify things by putting that technology in the hands of everyday people that don’t have tons of time to crunch economic data or training to analyze word choice

Sorry, I guess I don’t get the humor.

Why is it funny that a person communicating a negative opinion is of monetary value to someone else?

Seems like a broken logic. Or an antisocial one working properly.

That is its own deeply troubling line of thought 😅
December 5, 2025 at 8:26 PM
I’ll use my free speech however I see fit.

Here I choose to label propaganda negatively and with the help of the people guide the public focus back toward human talents.

I’d disengage if I could, but the “show me less like this” option is either broken or operating under an agenda.

I like it.
It points out the cyclical nature of cultural interests, an intentional flag-to those old enough to remember-of the direction the culture wants to go.

That’s a tragically optimistic take. HP doesn’t compel a value system or set of restrictive behaviors on its reader, or proselytize. It leaves the choice of whom to emulate to the reader. That’s kind of a line between art and indoctrination.

🤯 did I just argue in defense of Harry Potter as art?

You’ve read the Bible, right? We know how it worked out.
December 5, 2025 at 1:16 AM
That’ll work great. Except it’s not an organization.
You might as well shoot it.

It’s a bunch of words on a paper in DC with copies in thousands of locations across the country.

Did you even read the article or are you just spewing political words that feel a certain way when grouped together?

And yet, here we are
December 4, 2025 at 5:57 AM
No. There are NO new systems. Everyone stop looking! Go watch ancient aliens instead.

There’s literally an astronomical number-damn near infinity-of other star systems, all different in so many mind bending ways it’s a travesty of language to use the word typical.
December 4, 2025 at 5:19 AM
You, sir, have been radicalized.
Democrats clearly took the stance of “no genocide” long ago, which means no civil war. Frustrating and dystopian, yes, but it is what it is.

That’s our line.

If your goal is to incite violence, go argue with the conservatives. You’ll feel better understood.
December 4, 2025 at 5:04 AM
That’s not how the party works. They represent the viewpoints of women, children, disabled, the mentally infirm.
To fully oppose conservativism right now would push physical confrontation between a party of sociopathic pedophiles and the most vulnerable members of society. We work in words for now.

Like when a religious denomination comes to dominate a society it makes up a bunch of disorders to call the nonbelievers, whom then get ostracized from their society to make room for believers? Theocracy?
Yeah we just roll with it. 🤘
Turns out free speech can’t stop it so we’re kind of at a loss
December 3, 2025 at 2:11 PM
😂🤣 that’s punny

Have you tried Modest Mouse? This song is always right.
Their music is discordant but melodic, lyrics are smart, high caliber wordplay.

It’s like they took the feeling of a human existing in the not right and designed a sound to meet us there and bring us back.

Snowpiercer.
Snowpiercer.

Not the show, the movie. Also Snowpiercer and Snowpiercer, and throw mama from the train.
Billy crystal and Danny Devito together. Classic.

We used to call it a theocracy. Now nobody know what that means, but it’s when a fundamentalist cult assumes positions of power and starts writing cultist instructions where people expect to find laws, rewriting the next generation’s definitions of right/wrong to fit the cult/religion
December 3, 2025 at 12:02 AM
One could exploit that loophole. But doesn’t that seem dishonest?
December 2, 2025 at 9:20 PM
Oh you caught onto the humanist plot! Excellent! Now the next step is to internalize that even though it’s made of thought, a place like Oz is as real to its inhabitant as their own sensory input; and that all 8 billion of us have an Oz that you can’t see/hear, and you have one that we can’t see.

Does it hurt the tree?
December 2, 2025 at 12:40 AM
Just the independently verifiable kind
December 1, 2025 at 11:39 PM
Maybe he was going for 2nd worst term the whole time, shot too low, and had to do this second term even worse than the first term to make his first term get second worst place?
December 1, 2025 at 10:54 PM
It could, but home systems would still require a similar investment of materials and labor to start and maintain, and we will probably still operate a public/industrial grid even after personal energy independence is pioneered.
December 1, 2025 at 5:35 PM
This isn’t art. It’s propaganda. Artists value feedback. Shit slingers hide from it. Coward.
