Waiting for their karma to catch up to them. #nasty
Once upon a time I would have agreed.
I think people are over Trump.

Who is paying for that? It has to be private investors, that was one of Carney’s requirements.
Who is paying 10s of billions for a pipeline, taking 6-7 years to build, with no one to sell to?
The world is going green.

I think it’s a lot easier to invest in products where the market is growing, and demand is increasing.
Investors can get into critical minerals for a lot less money and regulatory hurdles, and more confidence in making money.
November 28, 2025 at 5:12 AM
I might if the Cons didn’t have Poilievre.
November 28, 2025 at 5:10 AM
They are just going to roll over if they are opposed.
No private investor will wait 3-5 years in the courts, then another 6-7 building a pipeline, all while demand for oil continues to decrease.
November 28, 2025 at 5:09 AM
Do you think BC or the Coastal First Nations won’t take the government to court? You really think they don’t have a say?
November 28, 2025 at 4:41 AM
I think Eby and Coastal First Nations will prove they have a say, all the way to the court.
That’ll make investors really excited.
November 28, 2025 at 4:29 AM
I just don’t think there’s an investor out there who has faith they’ll get their 10s of billions of dollars back once the line is complete 7-8 years from now.
It’s a shrinking market.
November 28, 2025 at 4:14 AM
10s of billions.
Years of construction.
Global demand is declining.
No one will pay for it.
November 28, 2025 at 4:10 AM
It’s not at capacity now!
November 28, 2025 at 4:03 AM
Can you should me in the MOU where it says Coastal First Nations and BC have no veto?
November 28, 2025 at 4:02 AM
Not sure why people are worried.
Who are people going to vote for? Poilievre? No, they won’t.
November 28, 2025 at 3:56 AM
The MOU requires three things before any environmental issues come up.
1. Private investors.
2. BC support.
3. Coastal First Nations support.
NONE of those criteria have been met.
No pipeline, no regulations.
November 28, 2025 at 3:50 AM
What do you think happens if Alberta tries to build without BC support? Courts. How long do you think that takes to settle? Years.
Investors won’t touch that with a ten foot pole.
November 28, 2025 at 3:24 AM
You didn’t read the MOU.
He said there would be no pipeline UNLESS Coastal First Nations and the Province of BC agreed.
So, no pipeline!
November 28, 2025 at 3:14 AM
Did you read the MOU?
Why are you mad?
He said there had to be private investors. There are none.
He said BC had to agree. They don’t.
He said Coastal First Nations would have to support it. They don’t.
Why are you mad there won’t be a pipeline?
November 28, 2025 at 3:02 AM
The MOU requires a private investor, it’s one of the stated criteria.
November 28, 2025 at 2:44 AM
Fact check: No, U.S. oil tankers do not pass through the Hecate Strait. Elizabeth May shows exactly why the tanker ban exists, and why protecting it matters.
November 28, 2025 at 2:42 AM
It all started with no private investors. It’ll end there, too.
November 28, 2025 at 2:25 AM
There are billions being invested in critical minerals in our country, from all over the world.
Alberta could transition, diversify, they already have a pipeline.
Cheaper, faster, and produces the minerals we need for chips, batteries and solar, defense, clean energy.
