Maggie’s poems attend so tenderly to all the awe & ash of this, our momentary, Life. She snagged me early. I felt plucked out of the wind & caught aloft. A kite broken loose. Lodged high in a tree with views of the whole horizon. I was buffeted & needed upholding.
