I think one of the most remarkable things about The Twenty Days of Turin (1975) is it's prescience about socials.

In the book, The Library was a place anyone could go to unburden their thoughts, which any could read. For a price, anyone could connect with people they read. Interesting passage:

Just finished. Lordy, just such an excellent film. Proper, old Hollywood epic. 500 men in 16th century armour in the Italian foothills one moment, a deep and thoughtful scene of Michelangelo in the middle of creative despair the next.
