I hope we get the alternate plot for Phase 3; <REDACTED>. The "banal evil that creeps in through doublespeak while the public don't notice" storyline was something new initially, but it's gotten quite stale. It would really liven things up if the writers end this season of "Government" with a "bang"

I have been called many names by many people in multiple parties for pointing this out, even by other trans people. It's concerningly endemic, (especially in those involved above a certain level) and then they repeatedly wonder why trans people don't trust them or want to get involved 😬

They speak as if this practice ended a quarter of a century ago, but my partner was forced out of the Navy for being trans in *2023.* It's all just gaslighting to pretend things have moved on, and token gestures ring even more hollow when the practice is still ongoing, just "unofficially" now.
