That’s Canva’s policy, not Affinity. Nothing goes to Canva unless you use the AI bullshit.

Canva has opt-out of AI training. Affinity has no AI training.

Obviously, be skeptical of privacy policy changes and so on, but don’t spread misinformation

Regarding the catch other than AI, it’s the Canva login. Not to steal or track data, the login means they can count you as an “active Canva account”.
They want the MAU number to be higher so they can get more investors. They care less if people pay.

Good adventure design is so hard to get right and seeing all the bad laid out as "what we don't want to do" and listing their guidelines is so helpful to formalise my own feelings on running the game and being concious of making something better for my players.
