I’m saying all this for myself more than anything. I want to find a community in real life, people I can touch. I don’t really know how, I’m extremely isolated, but imma figure it out.

I think the best way to heal all this is connection and community. The online spaces should be used to organise real world action and honestly just fun, like make friends. Share your love. Staying online is unproductive and we have seen over the years that it doesn’t amount to much.

Majority of people have internalised racism, misogyny, queerphobia etc. Even those of us who try our best. But at the same time majority of people are not consciously trying to be hateful. They are just, ignorant, selfish, because we live in a society that encourages this.

Sometimes lending people good faith just hurts you, sometimes it’s productive, a lot of the times you’ll get it wrong. But don’t stop trying if you truly want to make a difference.

But we gotta figure out how to get people to love themselves and their neighbours enough to work towards a better future thats possible. Giving up and apathy, wishing for a god to come along and just do it for us isnt going to happen. Do we want our kids to have a future? We have to work for it.

instead of reality which is, it’s the system. Which isn’t easy to change, and it can feel overwhelming, so they go to something easy, it’s easy to bully and subjugate minorities. It’s easy to achieve your goal of taking the 5 total trans women out of sports instead of fixing the whole damn system.

Capitalism is a system that doesn’t serve anyone, it leaves people feeling angry at their material conditions and struggling to survive so they are perfectly primed for some guy to come and swoop in and tell them “its not your fault, it’s [trans, black, indigenous] x people”

Red scare shit after WWII did irreversible damage to society, everyone is scared of the word communism but when you ask them to define it they describe capitalism. Having the vocabulary to explain your feelings and opinions is empowering.

I hate this coalition with every fibre of my being. They are so unbelievably incompetent and corrupt. Doing irreversible damage to the environment and society. They make people who can’t define basic political terminology feel like scholars. ;——;

You have the billionaires who buy out politics running the biggest sources of news. Twitter is fucking nazi heaven and musk is bathing in the love and attention from people he despises controlling the narrative and sowing psychosis in everyone.
It’s distressing.

How do you even fix this? Where do we go from here when a significant portion of the population don’t even respond to education? To reason? To reality? How do you educate people that have such a deep mistrust in anyone but their master? Their grip on reality is gone and they will die bc of it.
