Thank you Violet Affleck for advocating for children's health! 👋👍It's unforgivable that adults are letting children repeatedly get covid without thinking about long term health impacts. This terrible experiment doesn't seem likely to end well. I'm so scared for children's future health.

YES!!! School admins never mention covid infections and long covid when discussing students being absent so often. Infuriating. Kids are getting sick over and over and come back to school completely wiped out.

Way to go! I'm also the only teacher still masking in my school. Masks work! I haven't been sick over 5 years.

Congress needs to step up and protect the US from these senseless cuts to science. We all need to keep contacting our representatives, over and over. Everyone will pay the price if science research is gutted.

I agree. School admins are wondering why students are absent so often 🤷‍♀️ and somehow don't realize that it's because they are sick! Students have noticed at the end of the school year that I'm never absent. I wish more teachers would mask. It's really nice not getting sick.

So great to hear! I'm a high school teacher in the U.S. and do the same thing (although I wear a KN95) and haven't been sick in over 5 years despite my students being so sick in class many, many times during the year. Kids get sick so much more often now.

Well said. His supporters do both and don't have the mental capacity to realize that the two beliefs are incongruent. Thus, they don't realize they look like a buffoon.

I agree. I feel the same way in school. So many students and teachers repeatedly sick, but no one (except me) masks.

You aren't alone! I still mask every day at work (in public school classroom), when traveling and in stores. I don't eat inside restaurants. So far, so good.🤞 No covid. So many studies show the dangers of covid infection. It's not worth the risk.
