Really enjoyed it, laughter and tears moments through out. If you get the chance go and see it and if you stay long enough at the end you’ll even see under Transportation section “David Burns - driver to Suzie Lavelle” (DoP) on the end credits! 😂

2 Temple Place off the Embankment, built for William Astor, I had a very quick look in there as I’d never seen inside before, looks like a decent exhibition on in there until 20th April.

Any of you literary types familiar with this book, well the turning into a tv series is my current employment and should keep me gainfully employed until next September.

Love that tune, bought the album, which has Southern Freeez on it, at the time 1981, quite a different vibe to ‘IOU’.

It looks as if it’s a 199 year lease from the University of Reading who are the freeholder of the Thames Valley Science Park of which the studios are part of, also on this site adjacent to studios is the British Museum Archeological Research Collection.

So I’m now on a production for next few months based at the new Shinfield Studios, a sizeable site with 18 stages located next to the M4 just outside Reading.
I’ve just learned the money to build it, £262 million, was lent by Cain International.
Key people Jonathan Goldstein and Todd Boehly.

The Grand Union Canal at Uxbridge yesterday taken at the same time at the same spot, no filters or hocus pocus used just a very different sky in each direction.

RIP John Amos, just this series alone was enough, this then 12 year old was left numb watching you and this series, I don’t mind admitting I shed a tear or three watching it. 😔

I read this blogspot about Ed Stewart there is one particular bit that really is chilling, the first time he saw his to be wife, Chiara, was when she opened a front door to greet him that door just happened to be the front door of Jimmy Savile’s house, she was only 13 years old.
I dread to think. 😩

Went into Tesco Borehamwood, it sits on what was the other half of Elstree Studios formerly EMI Elstree, you can see the George Lucas Stage in the half that was left and still operates, that stage is appropriately named as the first Star Wars trilogy was shot at here before half was sold to Tesco.

Well had to be done whilst here at Sky Elstree today, so that little grassy knoll is roughly where the chateau stood that was built for the film, the Dirty Dozen, also on that same area of MGM Elstree backlot was the castle / mountain model built for ‘Where Eagles Dare’.
Location nerd! 😂

Useful when you see the end credits of old BBC programmes and think “What year is that, ffs” though some of us learnt these from an early age owing to watching far too much television. 😂

East Kent Times what’s on pages July 1972, just look at the names, the Quo and Roy Orbison back to back at Dreamland Theatre, Tommy Cooper at the Winter Gardens, Margate, if that’s not enough there was Jackie Pallo v Johnny Kwango.
To think my mum and dad chose to move from Ramsgate in late 1972. 😩
