The Democratic Establishment has failed to stop creeping authoritarianism and rampant inequality. Check out my new website in my campaign for US Senate in Rhode Island.

End the forever wars. #nowarwithvenezuela

Trump’s peace plan for Ukraine was literally just a copy-and-paste of Putin’s plan (which gave Russia everything it wanted). He’s either too lazy or too stupid to come up with an American plan. He’s Putin’s puppet.

Invading Venezuela would be a huge mistake—an Iraq and Afghanistan level mistake that would reverberate for decades. Congress must act before the madman does. It’s Congress’ constitutional duty to declare war. Don’t let the senile tyrant take that power from the people’s representatives.

Investigating Mark Kelly over his video advising soldiers that it’s their duty to disobey unlawful orders is a clear violation of our Speech and Debate Clause. This is the most anti-constitutional administration we’ve ever had. They hate our Constitution because it stands in their authoritarian way

Rolex bought their way out of tariffs with a golden watch to Trump. He is the single most corrupt politician of all time. I will introduce a bill to outlaw any public official—the president included—from taking even a penny of bribes. The grift has got to stop. 🛑

Lindsey Halligan telling a grand jury to indict on a promise of future evidence is laughably incompetent. She should be disbarred and no judge or jury in this country should trust a single word Trump’s DOJ says. They’ve made clear that they’re a bunch of clowns 🤡

Absolutely unacceptable. ICE threatened a Rhode Island judge and harassed a high school inter of the Superior Court. This is an attack on our separation of powers. The lawlessness needs to stop!

The United States spends over $13,000 per person each year on healthcare. France, Canada, and the United Kingdom each spend half as much for better outcomes. The problem is that for-profit insurers, drug companies, and hospitals are each padding the cost of service. We need universal healthcare.

Corporate investors own roughly 1 in 5 homes in the US, artificially driving up prices and making it harder for workers to afford a place to live. Housing is a human right.

My plan would prohibit landlords with more than 1,000 units nationally from owing more than 0.10% of any city’s rental market.

The oath is to the Constitution, not the office. Of course you must refuse illegal orders. And threatening those who say so is an impeachable (and obviously tyrannical) offense. Trump doesn’t believe in our Constitution. He hates our country.

Public offices shouldn’t be lifelong positions. Eighteen years is more than enough time to make an impact without growing stale. The House, Senate, and SCOTUS need fresh faces and new ideas. We plan to cap the terms officials can serve at 18 years to make way for the next generation of leaders.

Over the last forty years the workforce of the Providence metro area has gone from 40% manufacturing to just 11%. This is the largest drop in the country. We need a manufacturing renaissance in the technologies of the future like semiconductors, solar panels, and EVs. This campaign has a plan.

The Constitution does not guarantee judicial life tenure, it guarantees that judges “hold their offices during good behaviour.” The Trump-Judges who do nothing but rubber stamp our slide into autocracy must be removed from the bench when Democrats take back power. I’m keeping a list.

They’re trying to make Americans dumber. We need to pass an Equal Education Amendment to ensure quality education for all American students.

This campaign is about elevating the voices of ordinary, working class Rhode Islanders. What’s your bold, progressive idea for a better Rhode Island?
November 18, 2025 at 3:16 PM
49% of Rhode Islanders are considered energy-burdened (spending more than 6% of their income on energy bills). This is among the highest in the country. My plan to let states and municipalities retake control of their utilities would bring down costs and give people a say over their energy mix.

In Sackett v. EPA, the Supreme Court removed over half of this country’s wetlands from the protection of the Clean Water Act. As Senator, I will introduce a bill to expand protections to all waters of the United States including all those previously covered before the Court’s horrendous decision.
